St. Peter's carries out its mission through the ministry of all of its members. The ministers of the church are laypersons, bishop, priests and deacons. As Christians we are all bound to follow Christ; come together week by week for corporate worship; and to work, pray and give for the spread of the kingdom of God. In corporate worship, we unite ourselves with others to acknowledge the holiness of God, to hear God's Word, to offer prayer, and to celebrate the sacraments. (Book of Common Prayer, pgs. 855-857)

St. Peter's is honored to have our Rector, Mo. Chris Brannock-Wanter, featured in the "notBig" exhibit at the M. S. Rezny Gallery. An opening reception will take place Friday, Jan. 13, 5-8 p.m.

St. Peter's is led by a modest-sized staff and an elected vestry that is responsible for varying areas of church life.
The Rev. Chris Brannock-WanterI began serving as Priest-in-charge at St. Peter's in December of 2010. I attended The General Theological Seminary from 1983-1986, and returned for further graduate studies in Liturgy and the Arts of the Early Church, 1998-'99. Prior to moving to Kentucky I served in congregations in the Dioceses of East Tennessee and Vermont. Some of the many reasons I love St. Peter's are that the community is so alive, embodies joy, and is fearless. I am passionate about my vocations as artist and priest.

St. Peter's is more than employment for me.
As a second home with open-armed friends,
St. Peter's has provided worship, support, and a human face of God.
